Poetry and Man..a relation a requirement

Poetry has been around in various incarnations since humans first put hand to pen....and probably even earlier; there is much scholarly belief that the earliest forms of metaphor and poetic expression spurred the very evolution of communication and language itself.

And though some of the most imaginative and creative poetry was created centuries earlier. For example: Tu Fu of the Tang Dynasty in China wrote in the seventh century B.C., William Shakespeare wrote his famous sonnets in the 16th century, Dante wrote his Inferno in the thirteenth century. For many, it is in the nineteenth century where poetry reaches its peek.

Included here are short biographies of Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Percey Bysshe Shelley, Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, and some of the greatest poets of the nineteenth century, along with examples of of their work.

Poems Written by Famous Poets

There were very few world famous writers of poetry in 19th century (nineteenth century) they have written lots of poetry at that time around 1857 and that published in a world famous press of New York Harper & Bros.
This poetry book is basically collection of poems, like Queen Caroline's grotto at Richmond was printed in 1732; and his chief poem, The Spleen, in 1737 with a preface by his friend Richard Glover, Robert Dodsley's collection (1748), They were edited in 1796 with a preface by John Aikin and in 1858 by Robert Aris Willmott with the poems of Thomas Gray and others.
There are only two books in the world one is still with the press owner and one I got from my grand parents, since it’s collection of poems of so many different poets its called Anthology of poetry.

Nineteenth Century Poetry Book

His Grotto, a poem on Queen Caroline's grotto at Richmond was printed in 1732; and his chief poem, The Spleen, in 1737 with a preface by his friend Richard Glover. These and some other short poems were printed in Robert Dodsley's collection (1748), and subsequently in various editions of the British poets. They were edited in 1796 with a preface by John Aikin and in 1858 by Robert Aris Willmott with the poems of Thomas Gray and others. The Spleen, which was not originally intended for publication, is an epistle to Cuthbert Jackson, advocating cheerfulness, exercise and a quiet content as remedies. It is full of witty sayings. Thomas Gray said of it: "There is a profusion of wit everywhere; reading would have formed his judgment, and harmonized his verse, for even his wood-notes often break out into strains of real poetry and music". Despite this praise, Green is thought of as a "one-poem" poet, to the point that he became known as "Spleen-Green [Source: Wikipedia]
